Responsible for personal data
Stockholm Federation of Student Unions (SSCO) is responsible for the processing of personal data on the Akademisk kvart website.
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), (EU) 2016/679.
What personal data is processed?
The personal data that may be processed includes:

  • Name
  • Contact information (email address and telephone number)
  • Address
  • Personal identity number (where required for identification or security)
  • Electronic data such as IP addresses and cookies

Why do we process your personal data?
We process your personal data in order to:

  • Provide, administer, and develop Akademisk kvart’s services
  • Manage user accounts and cases
  • Enable contact between users
  • Compile statistics and analyze the use of the website

Personal Data Processor

To provide and administer Akademisk kvart's services, SSCO uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a personal data processor for the operation, storage, and technical management of user data and user accounts. Personal data is primarily processed within the EU/EEA. If personal data is, in exceptional cases, transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, this is done in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses (SCC). SSCO has a data processing agreement with AWS and is responsible for ensuring that processing takes place in a secure and lawful manner.

Responsibility and misuse

Akademisk kvart is not responsible for the accuracy of information that users publish themselves. In case of suspected fraud, unlawful subletting, or discrimination, we reserve the right to review, deny, or remove advertisements as well as suspend users.
