About Us
Who Are We?
Akademisk kvart is a non-profit made by the Central Organization of Stockholm’s Student Unions and is an initiative to flatten the curve of high sublet rents in Stockholm. We are a platform for students, and work to provide subletting and sublease solutions with a reasonable rent level relative to the student economy. Through this, we aim to improve the housing situation for students and hope that our users share this vision with us. Posting ads and expressing interest in ads is free, but you must have an account.
The platform was founded in 2011 and is funded by the five largest higher education institutions in Stockholm – Stockholm University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Södertörn University, Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm School of Economics. If you need help posting an ad or have questions regarding subletting your housing you are welcome to call us or contact us through mail.
We currently have extended phone hours due to the launch of our new website. You can currently reach us by phone between 13-16 on weekdays,
